Why Activation Monitoring

Most tools watch the symptoms. Concordance is trying to catch the slip itself.

Trace tools tell you what happened. Evals tell you whether the answer looked good. Guardrails look for known bad patterns. All of that is useful, but it still leaves a blind spot: what if the model has already drifted into a bad state while the output still looks superficially fine?

Concordance is aimed at that blind spot. It looks for signs of persona drift, policy confusion, and weak grounding so teams can catch bad states earlier and understand them with more than a score.
